Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American actress and singer. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. She is of Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent in entertainment as a young age. She went to her audition in 1992 and was offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother at the age of 13 and was cast as a model for newspapers and television commercials. In addition to having private lessons and acting lessons, she started her career in the year 2000. Bell appeared on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the leading Dorothy part. Bell later moved into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell left college in 2001 when she was cast in the role Becky to play Tom Sawyer. That was the same year that she also made her first credited debut with Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her appearance exists only in the credit sequence. Bell appeared with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
