She was born in Rome Italy to parents of American descent. Following her graduation from Tallahassee Florida high school, she enrolled at Boston University and continued her education. Then she went into Rhodes College & University of Florida. From a young age she was a dancer and actress who was trained to take part in different forms of performance. Following her dropout from the school, she went to LA in order to pursue the profession of acting. Her debut as an actor was made in the 2006 film Lucy's Piano.
